"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, Taylor Armstrong, is set to host a wellness-focused cruise this March. The Holland America's 1,432 passenger cruise ship will be the backdrop for Armstrong's physical and emotional empowering trip.
She said to USA TODAY, ""It's going to be about getting in physical shape and emotional shape and about empowering people."
The week-long trip called "Taylor Armstrong's Living Well and Loving it! Mexican Riviera Cruise." starts in San Diego on March 2 and will venture to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
The "Housewives" star was under public scrutiny when she revealed that she was abused by her late husband, Russell Armstrong, who later committed suicide. She said to USA TODAY, "I'm really learning how to build my own self esteem. I allowed myself to get into unhealthy relationships."
Armstrong's psychiatrist, Charles Sophy, will be sailing on the cruise and talking with participants about relationships. There will also be other health and fitness experts to lead workshops and classes and Armstrong will be reading from her book, "Hiding from Reality," whom participants will receive signed.
Armstrong also hopes her "Housewives" friends will come in and join as well. She told The Huffington Post, "I'm going to get some other people to come along. I would love to have some of the housewives come along and invite experts from the world of health and fitness. I'm good with the girls; we have all been through so much together. I want Kyle [Richards] and Lisa [Vanderpump] with me, cause we would have so much fun."
Armstrong's daughter Kennedy and her mother will also join in for the trip.
To join, cruisers must book from Ericka Umsted at Cruises.com. Fares start at 1,227.
