A man in China got a taste of the "Kung Fu Panda" when he sneaked into its enclosed habitat just to impress some girls. The uber cute animal in the zoo in Nanchang, China was not as welcoming as the intruder thought it would be. The man was reportedly traveling around the attraction with two female friends, when he decided to climb over the 1.3 meter high fence. He, then jumped over a 10 feet gutter-deep to reach the giant panda named Mei Ling.
Mei Ling was sleeping when the young man, known as Chen, touched the panda's head. The animal may have thought that the intruder was another playmate. So, he grabbed his legs and dragged the guy around. After some tugging between the two, the man was able to break out and run away from the panda bear, Telegraph published.
People who saw the incident said the man's pants was completely ripped. However, he was so lucky to have survived this scary event in his life unharmed, the site added. Deputy head of zoo management, Kuang Huaming, said "The young man left the zoo right after he escaped and we could not get in touch with him. On the other hand, we also arranged medical checks for the panda and told the breeders to closely observe its condition. So far the panda is fine." Adding that, Chen was blessed because no harm was inflicted on him by the 12-year-old male panda, Mei Ling. The zoo manager suggests that the giant panda only wants to play with the man, Telegraph explains.
Over the years, China has been in hot water for their mistreatment on animal. Just like the Dog Meat Festival in Guangxi, China, which is an annual celebration. Festival goers usually eats the dog meat, where approximately 10,000 to 15,000 dogs are consumed.
