After "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson heard the news about his then-girlfriend and "Twilight" costar Kristen Stewart cheating on him with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders, rumor has it that he has turned to friend and former co-star Reese Witherspoon.
Witherspoon who owns a ranch in Ojai, California with her husband Jim Toth, is said to have offered Pattinson a place to come stay after he moved out of his shared Los Angeles house with Stewart. Pattinson and Witherspoon worked together when they co-starred in "Water for Elephants."
Both Pattison, 26, and Stewart, 22, have left their shared home and a source told People magazine that Pattinson has stopped communicating with Stewart.
Witherspoon's ranch-retreat was featured in a recent issue of Elle Décor. The $7 million seven acre ranch was purchased five years ago. Witherspoon, 36, who is pregnant with baby number three uses the ranch as an escape with her children, Ava 12, Deacon 8 and her new husband Jim Toth.
US Weekly reported that Pattinson took Witherspoon up on her offer after hearing the news of Stewart and moving out of their shared Los Feliz, California home.
Witherspoon got married on the ranch to Jim Toth last March which includes an idyllic setting of horse stables, a swimming pool, a barn, guest cottages and animals including horses, pigs, four dogs and donkeys. Witherspoon has said of her vacation home that, "it's meditative and restorative."
The house seems like the perfect spot for Pattinson after getting the blow of Stewart's affair. Pattinson and Witherspoon first met on the set of "Vanity Fair" in 2004 but became good friends on the set of "Water for Elephants" where they played lovers.
Witherspoon said to USA Today in December 2010 about Pattinson, "He's a very sensitive soul."
