American Airlines is planning to change their look and upgrade their in-flight interiors and facilities.
The airline is trying to catch up with the latest trends in the market though it is on the verge of bankruptcy. The airlines' newly introduced lie-flat beds for transcontinental flights are an example of an attempt at improvement.
The price of these newly-added facilities and the ultra modern makeover is going to fall heavier on the traveler's pocket. But there exists a different segment of flyers like celebrities and businessmen who are looking for more luxury during their travel time and are willing to shell out more for it.
These new features and facilities can be seen in the new fleet of American Airlines Airbus A321 aircraft.
The whole new fleet is scheduled to be operating by November 2013. The A321s will replace some older Boeing 767s currently operating back-and-forth between both costs.
The new aircraft will be having three cabins with 10 flat sleeper seats in First Class, 20 seats in Business Class, and plenty of other seats back in Economy-including three dozen or so legroom main cabin 'extra' seats.
If all plans related to the new aircraft goes well, this might be one of the best ways to travel across the country.
Features like the seat-back entertainment screens attached to each seat, plenty of power outlets and access to in-flight Wi-Fi, is just going to add a lot more comfort and fun to the traveler's journey.
