Val Kilmer is a 56 -year- old actor and the "Batman Forever" star is battling cancer the same disease that was diagnosed six years ago according to Michael Douglas which he revealed during a Q&A with Jonathan Ross at "An Evening with Michael Douglas". During the interview, he stalked about shooting "The Ghost in the Darkness" with Val in 1996.
According to The SUN, Michael Douglas said: "The picture didn't turn out as well as I hoped but I had a wonderful time. Val was a wonderful guy who is dealing with exactly what I had, and things don't look too good for him. "My prayers are with him. That's why you haven't heard too much from Val lately." We can see a big difference from his lean and muscular-look during his Batman days to more different looking now-a-days.
But wait .... Is he lying about Val? Despite Michael Douglas comments, Val Kilmer denied any thing he said. "I love Michael Douglas but he is misinformed," wrote Tuesday Afternoon in Facebook. "The last time I spoke to him was almost two years ago, when I asked him for a referral for a specialist to get a diagnosis for a lump in my throat, which prevented me from continuing a tour of my play CITIZEN TWAIN. I ended up using a team at UCLA and have no cancer whatsoever. I still have a swollen tongue and am rehabbing steadily." But what made Michael comment such things and why would he say it? This sparked media attention not just on Facebook but also Twitter.
Kilmer denied in 2015 that he was having tumor and infection. In his public appearance, he was seen with tracheotomy tube and for several months he kept his neck wrapped with shirts and scarves, speculating about having the disease. Michael, on the other hand, announced that he was battling throat cancer in 2010 and later given the all-clear the next year due to chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
