Pretty much the hottest book series of the year and one of the best-selling book series of all time, "Fifty Shades of Grey" has made millions on it's eroticism that is turning married woman around the country turned on and turn to their husbands.
The bestselling trilogy "Fifty Shades of Grey," Fifty Shades Darker" and Fifty shades Freed" by author E.L James has sparked a discussion to whether the book has something to do with an increase in pregnancy amongst it's eager readers.
The contents are about Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele and their sexy, sadomasochistic sexual exploits. It has sparked a revolution of sorts amongst women who are crazy about the book. One user on BabyCenter.com wrote in a discussion board about the book, "It was kind of erotic and sensual and loving and compassionate all at the same time, which kind of got my insides going, I guess."
Linda Murray, the Global Editor in Chief of BabyCenter.com told "Good Morning America," "It's putting them in the mood more frequently and they're having more sex and they're ultimately getting pregnant faster."
Though the phenom isn't exactly proven, readers have mentioned how much more sex they wanted to have with their husbands after reading the book.
Carly and Leroy Gibson of Spokane, Washington said to "Good Morning America" that the 14 months they spent trying to have another baby, made the sex more like work than fun.
After Carly began reading the book her husband Leroy said he noticed a change in her. "She just put down the book and she was all over me. It was nice and enjoyable," he said.
Betsy Bailey told The Associated Press, that one night in vacation in Florida and a little Fifty shades is all it took for her to get pregnant. ""We went out to dinner and, you know, a little wine, a little stone crab and a little Christian Grey." She is now expecting baby number six.
It makes sense. The "mommy porn" is turning women around the world on and then having them turn to their husbands. Babies come next, naturally.
