According to Apple, iOS 10.1 brings Portrait mode, that shows off the power of the dual-camera system in iPhone 7 Plus. Using the 12 megapixel cameras and the advance machine learning on your iPhone 7 Plus, Portrait mode employs a depth-of-field effect that will make your subject sharp and your background blurred.
In photography, this effect is known as "bokeh" and usually produced using DSLR cameras. And now, your everyday camera has that same ability. Plus, the update includes optical zoom at two times for supersharp close-up pictures and improved digital zoom up to ten times.
