Amid his last months as a member of the boy band One Direction, Zayn Malik gave off an impression of being experiencing the pop star dream. Huge houses, quick autos, VIP fiancee and a huge number of fans purchasing his band's records and seeing them on tour.
Be that as it may, off camera, he shrouded an agonizing mystery: He was experiencing a devastating dietary issue.
In a meeting with the Associated Press (through the BBC), the "Like I Would" vocalist uncovered he experienced a dietary issue amid his last months as a part of One Direction. In his book entitled, ZAYN, he admitted that glancing back at the images of himself back in November 2014, he can perceive how sick he has become. He also admitted that this is something that he has never spoken of in public, in which he has dealt with before leaving the band, is that he was suffering from an eating disorder.
He also added in an excerpt obtained by The Sun:
"It wasn't as though I had any concerns about my weight or anything like that, I'd just go for days - sometimes two or three days straight - without eating anything at all. It got quite serious, although at the time I didn't recognize it for what it was. I think it was about control. I didn't feel like I had control over anything else in my life, but food was something I could control, so I did."
He conceded how he lost so much weight when he became ill and with the workload and the pace of life out and about set up together with the weights and strains of everything going ahead inside the band had seriously influenced his dietary patterns.
Around a similar time, Zayn was compelled to deny he was experiencing drug dependence because of his withering looks when he avoided a meeting in the US.
He quit One Direction in March 2015, having passed up a great opportunity for various appearances with whatever remains of the band because of stress.
From that point forward he has propelled his own performance vocation, discharging his first collection Mind of Mine in March and has begun dating Gigi Hadid.
