While Team USA is ready to get down to business at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, they have also found some time to have some fun. Some of the USA teams have released viral videos in which they parody songs like "Party in the USA" and "Call Me Maybe."
The women's US soccer team took some time to create a video in which they lip sync to Miley Cyrus' song "Party in the USA." The video features the women of the US women's Olympic soccer team dancing, acting, and having a good time in hotels and on the field as they prepare for the 2012 Summer Games. The video, which was posted on July 21 has over 300,000 views.
The following video was posted with the description "After the hype of Call me Maybe, the US team decided to have a little fun and do their own cover of Party in the USA. Join all 22 players on the road to gold. Team effort. Girls just wanna have fun. Thanks Miley."
While the US women's soccer team was partying in the USA, the US Olympic Swim Team created a video of their own. Just like the hundreds of parodies already floating around the internet, the swim team created their own version of Carly Rae Jepsen's summer hit "Call Me Maybe."
The video features both male and female members of the US Olympics Swim team including Michael Phelps, Ryan, Lochte, Missy Franklin, Alyssa Anderson, Kathleen Hersey Caitlin Leverenz and more. The swimmers are seen singing and dancing on planes, busses, in hotels, and even in the pool as they get ready for the Summer Games and blow off steam.
