Mabel Pantaleon, the New York based actress who has appeared in minor roles in shows like Dexter and Mystery ER, has been found after vanishing from her home Sunday. The 31 year-old actress who has manic-depressive disorder was picked up by police Thursday evening at JFK airport.
Pantaleon's mother press that she believed her daughter had stopped taking her medication and that she accused family of members of being terrorists before going missing. According to The Daily Mail Pantaleon said to her mother before her disappearance from her Harlem home, "I'm leaving from here, all of you are terrorists, you're not my mother."
The actress was reportedly trying to buy a ticket at JFK airport when her name popped up on the police's database. She was taken to Jamaica Hospital in Queens, and is reportedly unharmed. Pantaleon's mother said she saw something on the internet and got upset and started saying "weird things."
Pantaleon had moved to California to pursue acting but soon returned to New York and lived with her mother until finding her own place. She lost her apartment and then came back to live with her mother again.
Her mother had said that her daughter didn't have a boyfriend at the time of her disappearance and that "one of her problems" is that she dodsn't have friends or boyfriends.
The actress has starred in two films. Choose Connor in 2007 and The Gleam, which debuted earlier this year.
