The family of Ciara and Russell Wilson is finally expanding!
The R&B songstress and NFL star are expecting their first baby together. Ciara confirmed the good news on her birthday through a post on Instagram. She wrote, "On this special birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family...and I'm excited to finally share one of the greatest gifts of all that god could give."
Wilson also posted a sweet picture on his own Instagram account and wrote, "The greatest blessing of all. Forever grateful."
The couple's upcoming bundle of joy will be their second and first, respectively. E! News explains that the 30-year-old co-parents 2-year-old Future Zahir with ex, rapper Future.
The singer, who is the latest Revlon's Global Brand Ambassador, performed at a private event for the cosmetic organization in New York City on Tuesday evening. Ciara concealed her growing baby bump with an all-white, loose-fitting blazer and matching pants.
The "Goodies" singer and Seattle Seahawks quarterback first dated in early 2015 and got married in July 2016, Life and Style Magazine reports. Their closest family and friends were invited during their lavish wedding ceremony at the Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England.
Last year, Ciara also said that she wanted more kids and together with her husband, they have already discussed "a lot of good things."
A source also claims that Wilson would like "two to three children", adding, "They both would like a big family."
As what it's like to be a stepdad, the athlete said, "She has a little man, he's awesome and cute as can be, he's a special kid. I'm a stepdad now. When I see this kid, he's two-years-old, he's so sweet and loving, always has a smile on his face.
