New "Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" Footage Features 30-Plus Minutes Of Gameplay

The latest gameplay video for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been released by Nintendo. Uploaded to Nintendo's Japanese YouTube account, the video shows Japanese comedian Masaru Hamaguchi trying out the game and cracking jokes. He is joined by the comic group Yoiko, along with Shinya Arino.

For the English fans out there, subtitles are not yet available that's why you might not understand the jokes. However, the gameplay footage is universal. It features Link adventuring through gorgeous environments, fighting monsters, and collecting items. This seem to be the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild.

According to Nintendo, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is "a boundary-breaking new game in the acclaimed series. Travel across fields, through forests and to mountain peaks as you discover what has become of the ruined kingdom of Hyrule in this stunning open-air adventure."

Its features include exploring the wilds of Hyrule any way you like; more than 100 Shrines of Trials to discover and explore; Clothing with special effects that can make you faster and stealthier, and are suited for every need; Methods and Weaponry; and Amiibo Compatibility.

Meanwhile, Breath of the Wild will also be made available in Nintendo Switch. However, there are still no official release date for the game despite claims that it would debut within six months of the Nintendo's Switch release, meaning it's anytime from March to August 2017.

The new video also follows other gameplay videos for Breath of the Wild that Nintendo released in the previous week. Those videos displayed things like weather transitions and exploration.

Game Spot adds that Breath of the Wild is the first new core entry in the Legend of Zelda series for consoles since 2011's Skyward Sword.

As for the Nintendo Switch, it is a console/mobile hybrid system that features detachable controllers.
