Butter-loving celebrity chef, Paula Deen, who won the heart of America with her Southern charm through popular Food Network shows like Paula's Best Dishes, is set to headline her third cruise in 2013. The chef will host her Royal Caribbean cruise on January 27 with a seven-night Caribbean trip departing from Galveston, Texas.
The cruise will take place on Royal Caribbean's 3,114-passenger Mariner of the Seas. Stops for vacationers will occur in Roatan, Honduras; Cozumel, Mexico and Belize City, Belize.
In a message to her fans, Deen wrote on her cruise website, ""Hi y'all, join me and my family for our most exciting party at sea ever. The ship is stupendous and the ports are absolute stunners. They're new to me - colorful places with beautiful beaches, wonderful water sports, and historic interest. Of course, we have lots of onboard activities planned and great things to do in port as well. I just can't wait. I love getting away in the dead of winter. Hope you'll be with us."
During her two previous cruises, the voyages featured cooking demonstrations by Deen and passengers got to mingle with the celebrity chef and her family including Bobby and Jamie. Her next cruise should have a similar vibe with scheduled events such as a jazz brunch, Southern-style BBQ and a pajama party.
The website states about the cruise ship itinerary, "We're roundtripping out of Galveston next year. It's wonderfully convenient and a good place to start and end. The itinerary is so exciting, there's something for everyone ... eco jungle, snorkeling, diving, fishing, stunning beaches, ancient ruins and great shopping."
Fares start at $1477.
