The highly anticipated Blizzard Convention, which is an annual event for game enthusiasts and alike, has just released its upcoming schedule for this coming November. Expectations have been building up regarding the much-awaited launch of Diablo 4 and the eSports tournaments people have been dying to know about. So what has Blizzard Entertainment got in store for people this year?
An official schedule has been released, and the BlizzCon 2016 game conference will be held at Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California from November 4 to 5. According to ASZ News, the annual conference will be divided in three main events, which are the eSports tournament, developer panel and live attendee activities.
The first Overwatch World Cup Finals is one of the highlights in this year's eSports tournament. While, the other tournaments spread within the two-day event are StarCraft II WCS Global Finals, World of Warcraft Arena World Championship, Hearthstone World Championship and Heroes of the Storm Fall Championship.
Two main stages will be allocated for the developer panel - the main stage and panel stage. In this portion of the event, updates on Blizzard's game are usually introduced to the public and other clips from World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, Overwatch and Diablo III.
People will also be looking out for Sombra, the new character on Blizzard's Overwatch, which is believed to be unveiled this BlizzCon 2016, iTech Post reports.
As for the live attendee activities, various events and activities are plotted for the live show audience such as meeting the artists, designers, and engineers behind the Blizzard games. While, being able to see the behind the scene process of game development.
iTech Post indicated that 45 minutes will be allotted for Diablo's 20th Anniversary on November 4, and people can't contain their excitement for the 'could be' released new installment of the franchise. Although, no definite announcement has been revealed that keeps people on their toes.
Tickets will be sold at $199 on top of taxes and fees.
