Kerry Washington, 39, and her football player husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, 35, welcomed a new baby boy into the world on October 5. The couple's second child was named Caleb Kelechi Asomugha, Hollywood Life reports.
Fans of the couple have been wondering how Kerry handled the life as a mother of two and how the married couple adjusted to a family of four.
E! News said that the pair are savoring every moment even if it makes them a bit fatigued.
"Kerry is very tired mainly from lack of sleep," a source shared with E! News exclusively. "She has taken some time off of her daily grind to relax and spend time with her children and family."
As for their bond as mom and dad, it became stronger than ever as both work together with their kids' schedules.
"They are doing very good as a couple," our insider said. "They would like to have one more child."
A source adds that the actress has been lightly working out even as she spends a majority of her time with family.
"She has a trainer and eats really healthy," our insider added. "She is confident she will lose her baby weight quick like she did her first baby."
Ever since Caleb came to the picture, Kerry has kept her life as a mom very private. Fans are fortunate for the few interviews where the Hollywood star felt comfortable sharing a few details about motherhood.
"You know I don't talk about this stuff, but I will say I feel really, really blessed," Kerry gushed to the Los Angeles Times in one of her first interviews after becoming a mom. "I just feel really blessed that I'm kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life."
Congratulations to Kerry and Nnamdi for having a new member in the family!
