Huawei’s New Phone To Be Released Before 2016 Ends

Huawei will be releasing a new smartphone before the year ends. Rumors say that the phone will be released in the United States and will first be available through AT&T. Another smartphone, Mate 9 flagship will also be released sometime in November by the company.

The leak about the phone started from GFXBench, according to IBT. Leaks say that the new smartphone’s model number is H1611 and was spotted a few months ago.

The Huawei H1611 was believed to have already gone through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and it only AT&T subscribers will be able to get a hand on the new phone since it will be released exclusively.

With the device name still unknown, people still would have to wait until the company announces the phone’s release. The Phone Arena already gave most of the phone’s specs, though. The Huawei is said to come with a 6- inch 720p HD display with 244ppi pixel density.

Huawei seems to be making the phone more budget friendly for its users since the screen resolution is a bit low if techies will consider the size of the phone itself.

The new smartphone will also come with Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 processor with an Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (only 9GB usable) and a decent 3,000 mAh battery. Rumors also state that the phone will have an 8- megapixel rear camera with support for 1080p full HD video recording, and a 2-megapixel front camera. It will also run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Aside from the phone’s specs, the phone’s appearance have also leaked online looking like a generic Huawei phone up front and of course, the AT&T and Huawei logo at the back. The phone also has its headphone jack on the top edge of the phone and the microUSB is at the bottom on the phone along with the microphone hole and speaker grille.

Rumors also state that the Huawei H1611 will be part of AT&T’s GoPhone lineup.
