Traveling is always fun except for those few hours you're up in the air and completely trusting of your life to the plane's crew. If you are scared of flying then you shouldn't read these following confessions of flight attendants about the horrible things inside an aircraft. If you do so, let's not forget. I did warn you.
The foams on the earphones are almost, always not replaced after use
If you watch movies on the plane to past time, then you may have been a victim of someone's earwax passing unto you. In a report from Mirror, according to an anonymous attendant who answered a survey, those tips are not usually replaced until requested so be sure to ask for new ones when you're about to use them and tear those off or take those with you when you leave.
The water on the airplane is not as clean as you think
In the same report, another stewardess revealed that served water, be it cold or hot, came from a tank under the plane which isn't regularly checked or cleaned. Better to bring your own water and ask the attendant to heat it for you. Just to be safe.
Tray tables may have been somebody's foot rest or diaper holder
Stuff made the same survey and one anonymous flight crew answered and told people to always disinfect their tray table if they intend to use it. This is to make sure that all the bacteria is that the previous user may have left is dead. Treat it like your own dining table and be sure to keep it clean after using.
Those warm foods being served may not have been that way for the past 72 hours
Another attendant answered the same Stuff survey and revealed that foods sold or served inside the aircraft may have gone as long as 72 hours of unhealthy state and those lettuce inside your sandwich may not have been fresh all along. Airplanes usually keep cooked foods frozen for too long and serve them to customers in flight.
Even flight attendants don't use the toilet if they still can hold it
During long flights, it is but inevitable not to use the toilet but when doing short flights it is best to stay away from those. In the same report from Stuff, even the flight attendants don't use them and that should be enough reason for you to get suspicious.
