Who dies in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Premiere? Updates And Spoilers Here

Episode 1 of the 7th season of the hit TV series, "The Walking Dead", produced by Skybound Entertainment, is about to premiere. This means another gut-wrenching opening to everybody's favorite zombie thriller. One of the most common, and heart-wrenching questions for fans is, "Who is going to die next?"

Foreshadowing in the Title

Entitled "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be", the title points to a moment in season 1, according to Comic Book. At the Center for Disease Control, Rick Grimes expressed gratitude towards Dr. Edwin Jenner for the opportunity to leave and live on, to which Jenner replies, "The day will come when you won't be."

Whose Brains Are On the Ground?

With the ominous title, and an even more ominous sneak-peek trailer, fans are worried that one of their favorite characters has been killed off in this season premiere, at the hands of Negan, currently the shows main villain. So far, among the remaining survivors, namely, Rick, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Abraham, Eugene, Carl, Sasha, Rosita, Michonne, and Aaron, fans have speculations on the following characters, based on observations on the sneak-peek trailer:

1. Daryl

When Rick is dragged away by Negan in the trailer, some clothes are lying on the ground. These clothes resemble what Daryl was ending in Season 6's final episode, however, fans are doubtful of this outcome, saying this clue may be too obvious, and meant to throw off fans.

2. Maggie

Some fans braved the final scene of blood and gore to zoom in and search the remains for clues. Some fans remark that a small hint may be present, in the form of Maggie's engagement ring. Other fans even uploaded pictures of the ring when Glenn gave it to her many seasons ago, remarking on the similarity.

3. Glenn

Instead of Maggie getting the bat, it is possible that Glenn had her ring at the time, and is the character the show decided to kill off.

"Was the joke that bad?" - a line directly from the comic series, according to The Huffington Post. Negan says it in the newly-released trailer, and could link back to when he says it in the comic book, during a scene where Negan kills Glenn.
