From Diet Pepsi campaigns to Burger King Commercials, the Columbian-born actress of the popular sitcom "Modern Family," Sofia Vergara, has been named by Forbes magazine, the top earning actress on American TV. That beautiful face is everywhere and she sure knows how to capitalize on her popularity.
Between May 2011 and May 2012, Vergara, 40, earned an estimated whopping $19 million. Her hit TV show, Kmart line, Burger King, Pepsi and Cover Girl ads as well as appearances in movies like, "The Smurfs" and "New Years Eve" makes Vergara a very busy, and very rich, lady.
Some of the money she made also came from the production company that she co-founded 16 years ago, which had a revenue of $27 million in 2011. Others on the list include, Kim Kardashian at No. two, who racked in a nice sum of $17 million last year. The reality star and her family recently signed a three season contract for "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" at $30 million and with her fragrance and Sears line with sisters Khloe and Kim, she has made millions more.
Eva Longoria, the "Desperate Housewives" star came in third with $15 million and Tina Fey, reality star, Bethany Frankel, Zooey Deschanel and Mariska Hargitay all made the top ten.
