No Exclusions Limited, a private UK registered company announced the launch of a new policy which will help passengers stay relaxed about their scheduled flights. The policy takes care of a new ticket in case someone misses the flight.
No Exclusions, in a new agreement with Mondial Assistance, will offer travellers a Missed Flight Cover specially introduced for those UK customers who are willing to travel with easyJet, the UK's largest airline.
This new unique policy will allow passengers to get a seat in the next available flight without paying any additional cost or to get a full flight refund in case they miss the flight or they think their travel plan might change in the future.
"We are extremely proud to have designed and developed Missed Flight Cover and are thrilled that easyJet will be the first airline to launch the policy," Andrew Lothian, No Exclusions CEO commented. "We believe it provides an innovative and effective solution to a proven passenger concern and are confident that uptake will prove popular."
No Exclusions has identified in a recent consumer research that a major ratio of travellers have a natural fear that they will miss their flight. Last month an independent survey (conducted by One Poll June 2012) also revealed that a large number of passengers are concern about reaching the airport on time.
In UK survey, an average 43 percent of passengers said they will even consider staying at an airport hotel so that they catch their flight on time without taking the stress of missing it, while 71 percent of respondents claiming to sleep restlessly, or not at all, before a morning flight.
The New Missed Flight policy by No Exclusions can actually provide relief to a large section of passengers like business fliers who generally make their reservations at the last moment.
The policy helps passengers to claim handling, as the passengers are offered immediate assistance at the airport, at no additional cost.
The policy also covers other flight related services that the passenger asked while making the reservations such as reserved seating, speedy boarding, hold luggage, credit card and booking fees.
"We're delighted to be the first airline to offer Missed Flight Cover to our passengers, which we think perfectly complements our existing range of travel insurance products," said the Category Manager at easyJet.
The policy is very simple to understand with very less paperwork. The passenger has to reach the airline sales desk at the airport with in a time period of four hours after the flight missed to receive immediate assistance to re-book their flight or obtain a refund.
Missed Flight Cover is available at just £7.50 ($11.64) single flight or £9.50 ($14.75) return, alongside a flight booking on easyJet.com.
