Pets need some loving too, and we don't just mean the affections of their owners. An animal love hotel is coming to Brazil for pets to get it on in the way they know best--doggystyle.
Brazil, which has a 32-million dog population, the second largest after the United States, is opening a love hotel just for canines.
Fabiano Lourdes and his sister Daniela plan to open "Animalle Mundo Pet." The eight-story building in the southeastern city of Belo Horizonte will contain an entire floor that is made for pet mating.
The hotel rooms are decorated just like romantic, sexy bedrooms for human couples, like the thousands within the country that can be rented by the hour, but these special hotel rooms are made for pets to get it on. The rooms contain a heart-shaped mirror on the ceiling, red cushions on the floor and dimmed lighting and will cost dog owners $50 (£32) a day per room.
"For many people, the dog is a child who must be well treated," 26-year-old Fabiano Lourdes told AFP.
"Our market studies showed that people work all day long and they do not know where to drop their pets for mating," he added, expressing hope that similar hotels will sprout up in other Brazilian cities.
The pet sex hotel is costing the siblings $1 million and they've hired 60 employees such as veterinarians and biologists. The Lourdes hope that the hotel will make more than $300,000 per month.
Of course pets will have to look their best to attract potential mates, so the hotel will also sell luxury accessories such as $1,000 Swarovski crystal dog collars. There is also a pet fitness center so dogs can be in tip top shape during their stay. For animals that are celebrating their birthday, the hotel has a special space just for the occasion.
Surprisingly, this isn't the first pet love hotel to open in Brazil. In 2005, the Gang Dos Bichos pet motel opened in Sao Paulo.
