Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens may be reuniting on-screen again for the popular Disney movie, "High School Musical 4".
According to Christian Today. Fans of Troy and Gabriella can't wait to see them together again, but recent report claims that Austin Butler, Vanessa Hudgen's boyfriend, is not as excited about hearing the news, Parent Herald reports.
The upcoming reunion of former on-screen partners is expected to take place on another installment of the Disney movie, "High School Musical." It has been eight years since the last High School Musical, "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," appeared on big screen. Since Disney's announcement, fans of the show were so thrilled for them to get back together.
But, OK! Magazine reports that Austin Butler, Vanessa Hudgen's boyfriend, got a bit worried of the former couple's reunion on "High School Musical 4."
The magazine added that, Butler is not comfortable of the two working again together and is allegedly in doubt of the "Mike and Dave" actor's intentions on his girlfriend. Reports also claim that Butler will always be intimidated of the actor being Hudgen's first love.
The former partners, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, started dating during the production of previous "High School Musical" series one until three. Their relationship lasted for four years before they parted ways, as detailed by Christian Today.
According to report, Vanessa and Zac have both posted images on their social media accounts of the original cast members for a possible reunion. Since there's still no confirmation yet about the awaited reunion of the two. Some speculations emerged of the two playing small cameo roles instead. The possible parts would be basketball coach and drama club mentor.
Although, Efron and Hudgens have yet to release a statement confirming their upcoming on-screen comeback. Everyone cannot contain their excitement despite of this still being a rumor.
The "High School Musical 4" is expected to air on 2017.
