Pentatonix made the Crowd Roar in Thai Debut Concert

The crowd was not able to contain their excitement and happiness as they screamed, jumped, and clapped their hands when the American Chart- Topping a capella group Pentatonix perform in the Bangkok grounds last September 13 at the Muang Thai GMM Live House in Central World.

This is part of their concert series, SandBox and the group's first ever performance in Thailand.

GMM Live House opened their gates at 6PM, just an hour before the concert started. Waves of audiences and fans gathered in the area as they patiently wait for the acappella group to perform. Fans did not mind standing for awhile throughout the duration of the concert for there were no seats available in the venue.

The concert started with an opening act from Ozmo, followed by Fellow Fellow which played Thai pop songs. The crowd went wild when Pentatonix entered the stage and started the vibe with their own song before playing some of the popular songs they covered, as reported by Bangkok Post.

The crowd even went wilder as one of the group shouted, "Pom ruk kun" which means "I love you" in Thai.

Pentatonix, comprised of five members (Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Avi Kaplan, and Kevin "K.O." Olusola) started their group as YouTube sensations and started uploading their acapella versions of top hits songs. After gaining tons of audiences, followers and fans from the internet, the acapella group made it to the limelight which led to having four albums as of this writing.

Acoording to NationMultimedia, documentary film was also released for the group titled "On My Way Home" which showed behind the scenes, live performances and clips from their Pentatonix album.

Their album Pentatonix debuted as #1 on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Digital Album charts and sold more than 3.2 million albums in the United States alone.

The group was also featured in the movie Pitch Perfect 2.
