Top 3 Reasons ASUS Zenbook 3 Can Never Kill MacBook

ASUS promises a thinner, lighter and powerful machine that would kill the powerful MacBook. But does it really?

ASUS ZenBook 3 boasts of a larger display, speedier processor, lighter case, extra storage, and cheaper price. It is also powered by Windows 10.

Travelers Today researched the Internet and found out reasons why ZenBook 3's glory days are not yet coming.

ZenBook 3's Windows 10 can't compete with Mac OS

1) Mac has always been known to have 100 percent reliability when it comes to split-second suspend and resume. This is something Windows system still has to counter.

2) Macs boot faster than Windows machines.

3) Windows machines has a lot of blinking lights in its ports and buttons. Macs minimize this, making the design of MacBooks and Mac Airs cleaner.

4) One can run bith Mac OS and Windows on a Mac machine. A Windows machine can only run Windows.

5) Troubleshooting is easier with Mac OS. It has three apps: Activity Monitor, Console and Disk Utility, that would give you a hint right away on what is wrong with a Mac machine. Windows have similar apps but you need to download a lot for troubleshooting.

6) Mac OS has neater and organized system settings. Whereas, Windows have a cluttered one.

7) Mac does not hard sell its software offerings. Windows however has a reputation of allowing pop-ups to remind its users to update this or purchase that.

Keyboard

According to the testers at Computex, where ZenBook 3 was launched, the keyboard of MacBook felt better. Engadget's Devindra Hardawar felt ZenBook 3 keyboards felt "incredibly shallow". He does not imagine using it to type a lot. He pointed out that it was weird since ASUS wanted to come up with more "key travel space than that the MacBook".

MacBook will be releasing its own thinner machine.

MacBook Pro 2016 line boasts of thinner, lighter and more powerful products. They will also add Touch ID feature and OLED soft keys on top of the keyboard. The new line will be released at the last quarter of 2016.
