The most relatable thing about the American stand-up comedian - Amy Schumer, might be Schumer's annoyance with relatable famous personalities. Even Selena Gomez brought out her comedic skills to go head-to-head with an overly egotistic version of Schumer.
In Thursday's episode of the American comedy series - Inside Amy Schumer, the Trainwreck actress was witnessed as a sheltered version of herself. Schumer hosted a pseudo talk show - Down to Earth, and finds herself introducing ridiculous segments entitled - "Meet a Poor Person," then she insulted Gomez to her face, as stated by Huffington Post.
The segment kicks off as the announcer stated, "40,000 feet above the Earth, above a luxury airship that never touches the ground for tax reasons."
Then the former child star in the children's series Barney & Friends appeared to sing the theme song. "Look at you Miss Rosetta Stone," Schumer threw in some insults to the "Good For You" singer. "Look at how good your English has gotten. I love."
And the confused Gomez answered, "I was born in Texas."
The following segments showed Schumer gabs her pet dinosaur and took a peek at a live feed of her house maid, whom the stand-up comedian fears has been stealing from her, according to Entertainment Weekly.
"Do I have a maid? Yes, Schumer said. "Do I know her name? No. But I'm just like you. I still wash my own legs. I still do my own masturbating. Thank you. Selena, am I saying that right?"
The singer, who is visibly perplexed, replied by saying, "Masturbating or my name?"
But, the very funny skit was all just for a show, and people can expect Selena to do more comedy in the future, Hollywood Life reports.
However, Teen Vogue reported that Schumer and Gomez started their friendship at last year's Hollywood Film Awards, and since then, the celebrities have been documenting their sweet admiration of one another on social media.
