The TSA seems to have gotten a little too intense with their pat down on rapper Nicki Minaj. She claims that a Transportation Security Administration agent went as far as to fondle her while going through the security screening process.
Minaj took to Twitter to complain about the too-close-for-comfort behavior of a female TSA agent. '"Pretty sure I was just overtly fondled @ this check point. By a very old lady w/an accent. Word?' she wrote on her Twitter page on Monday.
The "Super Bass" singer/ rapper then tried to take a photo of the TSA officer, who told her that wasn't permitted. She wrote "So TSA always takes pics of me while doing their job! But wld u believe they just told ME EYE couldn't take pics???? Wow. #luckyIMsick,"
Despite the TSA's rules, the singer later posted a photo of the TSA agent that she took after passing through security.
A fan suggested that the 29-year-old Minaj should have gotten some revenge on the TSA agent. She retweeted and responded to the message saying "That wlda been lovely> RT @MzBellaBarbie: @NICKIMINAJ you shoulda "accidentally" sneezed in her face. Made her sick for being a perv. :|"
The fan's comment may have been in response to Minaj tweeting about getting sick over the weekend and needing Nyquil.
Minaj was going through security at an airport in the U.K. as she was leaving the region after performing in front of a crowd of 65,000 at London's Wireless festival in Hyde Park and Scotland during the weekend. She expressed her excitement over being in the area when she arrived, saying 'Yoooooo the WIRELESS crowd is LIVE to the billionth power!!!!! WOW. I'm in the ukaaayyyyyyy!!!!!!!'
Her next stop is the Philippines, but she also made a stop at Dubai during her travels.
Over the weekend, the singer/ rapper also received some good news about her single "Starships." She retweeted the message "Starships has racked 1.3 billion cumulative audience impressions, according to Nielsen BDS, and has sold 3.2 million downloads in the US."
Minaj isn't the first celebrity to feel like the TSA crossed some lines. Khloe Kardashian once said "They basically are just raping you in public."
