ABC reported on Thursday, May 12, the end of many shows amongst which is the cancellation of Agent Carter, The Family and The Muppets, along with popular country music soap Nashville that finished its fourth season on Wednesday, May 25.
The network also put troubled procedural Castle out of its misery following a month of turmoil, including the announcement in April that costar Stana Katic(Kate Beckett) would be exiting the show at the end of the currently airing season 8. Castle's series finale airs Monday, May 16.
Fox TV too said goodbye to its two new star-driven comedies:John Stamos' Grandfathered and Rob Lowe's The Grinder. Meanwhile, CBS' biggest news came with CSI: Cyber getting the hook and Supergirl moving to The CW.
NBC reported the end of Eva Longoria's sitcom Telenovela, along with fellow new series Crowded, Game of Silence and Heartbeat. The network on Friday, May 13, also gave the boot to Undateable after three seasons, the most recent of which aired in an all-live format.
