The Buxom Bandit thought she didn't even need to wear a mask over her face as her breasts were distracting enough when she robbed an Australian gas station. However, surveillance video caught her making a series of mistakes which will lead to her quick arrest.
A voluptuous blonde women in Queensland, Australia was wearing a low-cut top when she robbed the Gold Coast gas station while carrying a knife. She is now known as the "Buxom Bandit." She was able to escape, but security cameras caught the act on video and she didn't have her face covered.
The woman's rookie robbery mistakes didn't end there. She may not have worn a face mask, but she did wear a glove to keep her fingerprints from being detected. However, she wore it on the wrong hand, using her free hand to touch the register and cash. She also did attempt to cover her head with a black hat, but her long blonde hair is still clearly visible in the video as she wears the cap more like an accessory than a disguise.
The woman entered the gas station, held up the attendant with a knife behind the counter, and took about $200 in cash. She was in the store for about three minutes before returning to a car with a young man waiting inside.The car is reportedly a gold jeep that was stolen from a rental car company, according to the Christian Post. Police estimate that the couple is in their 20's.
"There were a number of serious threats to harm the attendant and she fled with a small amount of money," a representative for Queensland police told Channel Nine news.
The attendant did try to resist the robbery but the woman's threats with a knife drove him to open the register. As she fled, he throws items at her, IB Times reported.
With the video clearly showing her identity and her fingerprints left behind, it won't be too hard for Australian police to track down this ditzy robber. They probably wouldn't mind giving her a pat down either.
