Disneyland is that one travel place where kids from 1 to 99 enjoy! In Tokyo, there are also rides that while entertaining give eerie vibes to visitors. From cute little monsters to spooky attractions, here are 5 weird rides in Tokyo Disneyland.
The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E Komo Mai!"
Moving robots fill the whole room in this ride. In the beginning, four birds named Hanoli, Manu, Mahina and Waha Nui enchant the audience with their song. The lights went off during the singing. When the lights came back, they have noticed written messages all over the walls. With the help of Stitch, they solve the mystery. Visitors who find figures that walk and move creepy would find this show weird but entertaining.
Winnie the Pooh's Hunny Hunt
Loud sounds and darkness are prominent in Tokyo Disneyland's most famous dark ride. Visitors would sit on 5-seater honey pots. The pots would travel through dark rooms of dark trees, bee swarms, and colored lights. The weirdness comes from the fact that the honey pots are moving without any driver and train tracks!
Haunted Mansion
This attraction opened at Tokyo Disneyland in 1983. The ride follows a tour of a haunted mansion populated by scary characters. Visitors must be ready to be spooked by loud noises and sudden appearances of the residents. Sometimes, heavy winds blow through the visitors. The eerie ride would make riders say wow in the end.
It's a Small World
In all Disneylands all around the world, "It's a Small World" brings weirdness to a different level. It is weird and cute at the same time. Visitors would ride on a boat while being transported to different "regions" of the world. This makes the ride weird: Dolls of different sizes wearing different costumes dancing to the tune of the song "It's a Small World" in different languages would amuse the eyes and ears but scare the senses.
Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek!
Monsters are supposed to scare. In this ride though, they would try to entertain the visitors. It is a bit awkward to be in a ride with monsters, which would exert effort in making everyone laugh. Every visitor is provided with a flashlight. Use that to find the furry friends.
