'The Conjuring 2' Teaser Trailer Features Horrors From Enfield London

Warner Bros. Pictures released the teaser trailer sequel to the hit horror movie 'The Conjuring' that is set in Enfield, England. It was uploaded on Youtube last Jan. 7 and has almost two million views as of this writing.

The movie is yet another hair-raising take of the true accounts of prominent paranormal investigators, Lorraine and Edward Warren. The couple finds its way to the northern part of London to investigate a house haunted by violent ghosts where a single mother raises her four kids. They have written books about infamous cases of paranormal activities, specifically hauntings.

Many have high expectations for 'The Conjuring 2' since the first film from 2013 was quite successful. The first movie was based on the haunted residence of the Perron family in Harrisville, Rhode Island, where a long dead witch is believed to be haunting.

One such haunting is the Enfield Poltergeist that was prominent during 1977. It had quite a media coverage during its time as there were many investigators and journalists aside from the Warren couple who handled the case. After much scrutiny, many dismissed the supernatural event as hoax. Perhaps most notable of the paranormal activity is that the malicious spirits caused children to levitate, and the girls claimed to hear demonic voices (as shown in the teaser trailer.)

Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga and Golden Globe nominee Patrick Wilson will return to star their roles in the previous film as the daring demonologist couple. Janet, the 13-year-old who was haunted by the Enfield demon, is portrayed by Madison Wolfe. James Wan will also return to direct the sequel, and he brought us 'Furious 7,' the two 'Insidious' films and the many Saw films. 'The Conjuring 2' is slated for release in theatres on June 10, 2016.

This looks like a busy year for Warner Bros. with big movies coming out such as 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,' 'Legend of Tarzan,' 'Batman v Superman' and 'Suicide Squad.'
