5 Things that Annoy Flight Attendants

It is the season of vacations and a lot of people are overseas to celebrate the holidays this year and we owe our airport staff and crew our nice behaviors as they are working on holidays to let us get to where we need to be this season. To start, here's a list of what annoys our beloved flight attendants the most

Not Being Polite

How hard is it to say please and thank you when asking for something? Also, no need to click your fingers to get our attention, there's a call button for that. Also, you can just press the call button once, if the attendant is not there right away that means they are preoccupied with something

"Will I make my connection?"

They are cabin crew, not psychics. They don't know when the plane will fly if the delay is caused by air traffic or weather delays. If you think you're time is being wasted by being delayed, their time is being wasted too. They have absolute no control over the delays and they want to finish working as much as you want to reach your destination.

Passenger taking their shoes and socks off

Why do people sometimes think planes are exempt from the code of conduct for normal public places? Would you remove your shoes and socks while waiting for the train? No right? The plane is not your house, and no one wants to smell your feet.

Watching/playing/listening to something without your headphones on

Some people want to rest, work, watch their own movies, and listen to their own music on board. They don't need you to add additional stress to travelling by listening to some hiphop song you only like to listen. Also, they're not interested in whatever movie you're watching.

Handing a dirty diaper, toothpicks, used Kleenex, or Sprite can full of urine (happens more than you think)

It's part of every flight attendants job to walk down the aisle to collect empty cups but they are not sanitation workers. There is a barf bag into which you can dispose of anything and then place it yourself into the plastic bag as the crew walks through the cabin.
