When it comes to fighting boredom during commute, the earphone is a traveler's best friend next to his phone. With this, one would be able to listen to music, play app games or make that important call. However, there is a tendency for the earphone to get tangled in one's pockets or if taken out from a bag's pouch. This has always been an issue for any music lover who would just like to spend time listening to music without bothering anyone.
If you are one of those who find it irritating to find your earphones in a twisted mess, follow this guide on how to fix your earphones so that they will be ready and convenient to use when the need arises.
First, put the earphones in the palm of your hand and pin the earphones to your palm and let the cord run between your ring and middle fingers.
Next, run the cord to your index finger and wrap it from the front to the back then pull the cord towards the front of your pinkie and wrap it again to the back the same way you did with the index finger.
From here, you need to alternate wrapping the cord back and forth between the pinkie and the index finger. Just imagine you are looping the cord in an eight-shaped manner.
Once you've reached at the near end of the cord's tip, pull or release the cord from your index and pinkie fingers. Secure the cord by wrapping the short stub around the center.
Last but not the least, insert the jack in the loop at the center. This pins everything in order and will fit nicely inside your pocket or a pouch.
When the need to use the earphone arises, simply unpin the jack from the central loop to let the cord loose. This will make your earphone ready for use and you will now be able to listen some music without having to untangle it.
