Star Wars is known for its great story, well-developed characters and out-of-this-world settings but it also presented us with the best spacecraft in any science fiction film. It was quite an achievement for Lucas films to be able to create space vehicles that are believable and at the same time imaginary for their time. With its worldwide popularity, it wouldn't be a surprise if the concepts and designs of the space crafts will be used as inspirations for air and ground transport in the near future.

Millennium Falcon is the best looking ship in Star Wars due to the fact that it is the transport of choice of the main protagonists. Han Solo used it primarily for his smuggling voyages but it has proven itself to be battle-ready and its agility is unmatched.

Star Destroyer were the Galactic Republic's primary and heavily-armed ships which can devastate an entire star system. It was intentionally shaped like a dagger in order to facilitate its overwhelming firepower. It has also been known for its maneuverability - especially with regards to navigating through asteroid belts without taking damage.

The Death Star not only looks like a moon but it is just as large. The Imperial battle station are equipped super laser capable of destroying planets in a single blast. It was designed to strike fear throughout the galaxy so that Emperor Palpatine can gain more control.

The All Terrain Armoured Transport or AT AT appear like robotic dinosaurs which makes them look menacing. From the name itself, it is capable of walking on any form of terrain which makes it a fearsome juggernaut. The sight of these gigantic walkers certainly created a sense of foreboding in Empire Strikes Back.

T65 X-Wing Star Fighter is the small plane responsible for the destruction of the Death Star, a craft hundred times its size. It got is monicker form the shape of its wings when viewed from behind. These star fighters have been known for their speed, ease of maneuver and force field shields.
