John Travolta is facing a boatload of lawsuits. This time he's being sued by the former Royal Caribbean cruise ship worker who claims Travolta sexually harassed him.
Fabian Zanzi claims that Travolta exposed himself while Zanzi was working on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in 2009. Zanzi, Travolta's personal room attendant, claimed that Travolta had ordered room service food. When Zanzi delivered it, Travolta asked him for a neck massage. Travolta then reportedly dropped his robe, exposing his erect penis to the worker. Travolta then forcefully embraced the man while naked.
Zanzi also claimed that 58-year-old Travolta called him beautiful and said "Take me, I will take care of you, please," according to TMZ. Zanzi turned down Travolta. After the incident, Zanzi claims that the "Grease" star offered him $12k to keep his mouth shut about the events.
The cruise ship worker brought up the incident to Royal Caribbean management but he was told not to mention any details about nudity or sexual contact in the report.
Now Zanzi is suing for unspecified damages through the U.S. District Court in California. He is claiming assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress in the suit, according to The Wrap.
Travolta's attorney, Martin Singer is ready to fight and win in the case. He called Zanzi's law suit "ludicrous" and "inane" in a statement provided to The Wrap and he thinks Zanzi is just trying to make headlines.
"This is another ludicrous lawsuit with inane claims," Singer said. "It is obvious that Mr. Zanzi and his lawyers are looking for their 15 minutes of fame," quoted by The Wrap.
This lawsuit is among suits of similar harassment issues. Earlier this year, two different masseurs claimed that Travolta acted inappropriately during his massages. The suits were dropped but the plaintiffs may re-file their complaints.
Travolta is also being sued by author Robert Randolph who wrote a book called "You'll Never Spa in This Town Again" in which he describes sexual encounters that Travolta had with men in Los Angeles spas. Randolph claims that Travolta made defamatory remarks about him so that his book wouldn't sell as well.
