Rumored 'Furious 8' star Michelle Rodriguez is one badass chick. The Latina actress rose to fame when she began playing Letty Ortiz for the 'Fast & Furious' franchise in 2001. And so far, fans haven't seen the last of Rodriguez's turbo-driving skills yet. The 36-year-old Hollywood celeb is said to be prepping for her involvement in the upcoming sequel to the blockbuster flick, 'Furious 7.'

In the hit franchise, Rodriguez plays professional street racer Letty Ortiz, who eventually tied the knot with Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto. Though there's no confirmation yet on Rodriquez's possible involvement in the upcoming 'Furious 8,' which is slated to be released in 2017, rabid fans of the franchise are now expecting her to return since the story will never be the same without her character and Diesel's Toretto.

1. Like many artists, Rodriguez is a high school dropout.

Yes! Zac Efron's ex-girlfriend apparently dropped out of high school at age 17. She even got expelled from five different schools. The main problem though was not her lack of determination to finish her schooling, but the fact that she and her family had to settle in different places for almost half of her life. The 'Girlfight' actress and her family had lived in many different places including: Dominican Republic, Jersey City and Puerto Rico, among others, according to What Culture.

Despite dropping out of high school, Rodriguez managed to get a "Certificate of High School Equivalency" with the help of General Education Development or GED.

2. Rodriguez really loves music.

Unbeknownst to many, the 'Fast & Furious' actress, who is of Puerto Rico and Dominican descent, is very much into music. She even plays the piano and likes to DJ every now and then. Not only that, Michelle also likes to do karaoke with her pals. She is frequently spotted doing some karaoke with Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Ritchie, Emile Hirsch and Bo Barrett in Beverly Hills.

3. The 'Resident Evil' star frequently gets speeding tickets in real life.

It's pretty interesting to note that Rodriguez really applies what she does in 'Fast & Furious' in real life. After obtaining her driver's license in 2001, Rodriguez frequently hit the road at very fast speeds. In fact, she even come clean to E! News about receiving a lot of speeding tickets.

"I got such a bad record with speeding 'cause I got my license for 'Fast and Furious,'" she was quoted saying once. "After 11 points on your license, you're like, 'Yo, where's that Prius at? I'm dropping this M3 somewhere."

4. She's dated both men and women.

If you haven't known yet, Rodriguez has came out as bisexual in 2014.

"I've gone both ways. I do as I please. I am too f**king curious to sit here and not try when I can," she said at the time. "Men are intriguing. So are chicks."

Prior to her debut in Hollywood, Rodriguez was engaged to a Muslim boyfriend, but they called it off in early 2000, as per Celebrity Inside.
