‘Fifty Shades’ Sequel News: Henry Cavill Joining ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ As Jack Hyde?

'Fifty Shades' fans are absolutely going crazy while anticipating the sequel from the famous erotic franchise. This week, the latest progress on the much-anticipated flick, 'Fifty Shades Darker' has to do with the casting of villainous character Jack Hyde.

'Fifty Shades Darker' is set to introduce new characters, including Jack Hyde and Elena Lincoln. Now, since there is a lot of hype over the sequel movie, updates and leaked news from the sequel have been circulating the Web.

This week, several outlets report that producers are actually thinking of casting Henry Cavill to portray Jack Hyde. Obviously, this will be a big change for fans of the actor, who plays Superman in 'Man of Steel' and the upcoming movie, 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.'

Nevertheless, sources insist that Cavill is the perfect choice to portray Hyde. In the books written by E.L. James, Hyde is presented as a villain who has devious plans for female protagonist Anastasia Steele.

It can be noted that the first instalment ended with Anastasia and Christian parting ways. In the next film, Ms. Steel e will find herself working for a publishing company. Jack Hyde is her boss, who may have some devious plans ahead. Around the same time, Christian's former dominant, Elena Lincoln, is going to appear in the storyline.

'Fifty Shades Darker' is slated for a Feb. 10, 2017 release and lead actors Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are set to reprise their roles, without the tutelage of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' director Sam Taylor-Johnson.

Niall Leonard has already been confirmed to write the sequel. Producer Michael De Luca even said, "Niall is an outstanding writer in his own right, with multiple established credits, and we are lucky to have him join Team Fifty."
