Looks like Safaree Samuels is having a hard time showing his support for ex Nicki Minaj's career after they ended their romance of more than 11 years. Samuels just admitted via social media that he is struggling to be happy for Minaj.
According to Mstarz, Samuels is not pleased with the direction Minaj is taking following their bitter split last year. He also claimed that the 'Anaconda' singer is not happy that his new mixtape, 'It Is What It Is,' has achieved significant success.
Amid his frustrations over Minaj, Samuels took to Instagram to slam the latter when he shared the quote: "Keep grinding. Someone you don't even know is rooting for you, while someone you know isn't."
To make it all the more obvious, Samuels captioned the quote: "Story of stuntman's life." Obviously, he wasn't referring to a real stuntman but to his rap nickname.
Interestingly, Samuels added another cryptic post on Instagram when he shared a snap of himself and captioned it: "I want it for you...But you don't want it for me..It is what it is...I'ma start telling everybody I love them b4 they leave me becuz u really neva know if it's the last time you'll see the person...the next hour isn't promised but we take it for granted...Sh*% krazyy...Love #stuntgang."
Samuels' posts come amid reports claiming his alleged girlfriend, Sophia Body, threw some major shade at Minaj by claiming that the 'Super Bass' singer was the reason Samuels couldn't establish his own career, Beauty World News has learned.
The model also insisted that Samuels was the one responsible for Minaj's hit rhymes, but she later on took back what she said after receiving a lot of hate from Minaj's fans.
Meanwhile, it seems that Samuels has already moved on from Minaj since he has claimed that he's very happy with his life right now.
"If that's who she chooses to be with it don't have nothing to do with me," Samuels said after being asked if he's happy for Minaj and Meek Mill's relationship.
He then added, "If I was a bitter jealous person and I was miserable in my life right now, it'll be different, but mentally, I haven't been this happy in God knows how long. I just feel free."
