Azealia Banks Vs Nicki Minaj: ‘212’ Singer DISSES Beyonce’s ‘Feeling Myself’ Co-Singer Nicki Minaj For Winning Best Hip Hop Artist Award

Azealia Banks is certainly not one to just keep it cool when someone's butchering her name. Hence, it's not surprising that the '212' singer slammed the BET Awards for misspelling her name yet again.

On Monday, Banks took to social media to slam the award-giving body though she's just been nominated for the Best Female Hip Hop Artist award.

"@bet has thrown me such much shade over the years. Keep misspelling my name..." Banks tweeted.

Aside from slamming the BET Awards for misspelling her name, she also claimed that the award-giving body is " bogus," Huffington Post has learned.

The "Ice Princess" rapper wrote, "I really hate getting nominated for @bet awards. They're so bogus."

To make things even worse, Banks grabbed the opportunity to diss Beyonce's 'Feeling Myself' co-singer, Nicki Minaj, for winning the Best Hip Hop award in the recent years.

"The female rap award at the bet awards goes to nicki every year, it's not even a real award anymore lol it's a bit of a running joke," Banks wrote adding, "They should just nominate nicki five times with five different wigs on and pick the best picture lol."

Clearly, Banks is walking on thin ice for dissing Minaj, but she was not at all threatened at the prospect of Minaj's fans slamming her back.

"*hears barbz buzzing in the distance* *rolls up car windows* *sound of little barb heads slamming into glass* *unconscious barbs on floor*," Banks tweeted, obviously criticizing Nicki's fans called "Barbs," according to Us Weekly.

"*turns up random nicki Minaj verse* *puts car in reverse* *backs up over barbs* *blood splatters* *puts car in drive and takes off*," Banks finally added.

Interestingly, a couple of minutes later, Banks may have had a change of heart since she deleted all of her tweets about Minaj.

Aside from Banks and Minaj, who are up against each other for the Best Hip Hop Artist award, other nominees include Iggy Azalea and Dej Loaf, reports ET Online.

Minaj, who is also nominated for Video of the Year, Best Collaboration and Viewers' Choice, has yet to respond to Banks' uncalled-for tweets.
