After dating Nicki Minaj for more than 11 years, Safaree Samuels has absolutely grasped the four-one-one when it comes to the famous "Bang Bang" rapper's male fans.
Samuels recently stopped by VladTV and during the interview, he shared how it felt like to deal with Minaj's crazy male fan base.
Obviously, Samuels understood pretty well what he signed up for when Minaj's stardom grew bigger than expected, so he has no complaints on keeping their romance secret because Nicki had to appear single to ensure that her sex symbol image to her fans stays intact.
"It's different when you're a female. It's not good to be in a relationship," the "Stoner" M.C. said.
Samuels also revealed that he's very thankful that he is the type who lets things roll off his back in the midst of Minaj's very passionate male fans.
"I got numb to it really quick, though," Safaree maintained. "There was still some stuff that would happen that would bother me ... I don't know with me, I get over stuff really quick. I don't know where I get it from. I thank God for that ability but it's not easy at all."
Interestingly, Samuels dished about that one incident when a male fan grabbed her then-girlfriend onstage.
"That happened because he just ran on stage and grabbed her," he said. "We're on stage together. We're supposed to be the only ones up there, and somebody's lunging at you on stage. Like, you got to take care of that."
Samuels then went on to say that the fan took to Instagram to hit him up, but he simply shoved it off with: "It's all good. Peace. Whatever. I ain't tripping."
Meanwhile, it's been quite some time now since Samuels partied ways from Minaj and the twosome have not rekindled their romance since.
Minaj has reportedly moved on with Meek Mill. However, it seems that the female rapper is walking on thin ice again when she is accused of dissing Tyga in her "Feeling Myself" music video, reports Complex.
Fans took to social media to insist that Minaj slammed Tyga by sporting a jersey with "Pervert" and the number "17" on it.
The word "Pervert" is said to be directed at the "Rack City" rapper because he is currently dating 17-year-old Kylie Jenner.
Minaj has yet to confirm or deny the speculations.
