Is Robert Pattinson's fame getting in the way between his and FKA Twigs' peaceful relationship? The singer-songwriter has recently opened up about feeling "awful" for having a very famous actor as her boyfriend.
Speaking with the New York Times of her 29-year-old lover, the 27-year-old songstress said Pattinson's fame "makes you want to smash your face into the mirror."
"It's really hard-I can't begin to explain how awful it is. It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes," Twigs, born Tahliah Barnett added.
Twigs, who is clearly not pleased with the bashers that came slamming her after it was revealed that she's dating Pattinson, noted: "There's no amount of songs I can sing or dances I can dance that will prove to them I'm not a monkey."
As though the fandom wasn't enough to turn her down, recent reports claim that Pattinson has requested for them to sign a prenup amid their engagement.
Sources say the prenup is Pattinson's assurance because he's already worth $100 million while Twigs is worth close to $6 million.
"Robert is putting serious consideration into inserting a prenup agreement in place for his marriage to FKA Twigs," an insider for Hollywood Life said.
The insider added: "There's obviously a big difference in the wealth both Robert and FKA Twigs have attained in their careers. Robert wants to be careful, just in case it doesn't work out. He's worried about losing his millions should they ever divorce. He just wants to protect himself from the worst case scenario."
Additionally, the 'Two Weeks' singer is also said to be pretty agitated by Pattinson, who fears that she'll end up cheating with another man just like what Kristen Stewart did with director Rupert Sanders.
"After Kristen cheated on him with [director] Rupert [Sanders], Robert has had his struggles trusting anyone," a source revealed. "It really knocked his confidence and it's also a factor in why he's thinking about a prenup."
Despite these issues, Twigs is willing and is fully prepared to tie the knot with Pattinson in August. However, the Mirror has learned that she is not planning on wearing a white dress on her wedding day.
An insider gushed Twigs just wants the wedding "to be fun and a bit different."
