When traveling, it's important to know what is a must see in the city that you're visiting. Each city has a landmark that attracts large crowds of tourists. Some people may want to know what the number one spot is to check it out for themselves and some might want to know just to avoid the crowds.
The popular social network Facebook determined what the top landmarks are in cities around the world based on their check-in feature. Much like Foursquare, Facebook has a feature in which people can share their location with their followers.
Facebook examined this data since they started the check-in program in August 2010 to determine where people check-in most and what the top landmarks are in 25 popular cities. Many of the landmarks are places that can fit large numbers of people at a time like city centers and sports stadiums.
