Viral Video - On Thursday afternoon, an internet sensation was born. A five-legged lamb was delivered at Rhiwlas Farm near Lake Vyrnwy, Powys in mid Wales.
The five-legged lamb born was named Jake, according to the BBC, and his owner, Bethan Davies, 49, was able to capture the amazing moment that Jake first walked.
According to farmer Davies, the five-legged lamb born this Thursday is healthy and thriving, despite having an extra limb.
"He seems really happy, he's feeding well and bouncing around like a normal lamb. He is doing really well," said Davies. "We have never had anything like this before, apparently it's really rare."
In the video that Davies took of her five-legged lamb, Jake is seen hopping around the enclosure with the use of his four limbs, with the addition of one dangling at the front.
According to The Telegraph, Jake the five-legged lamb born this Thursday might be a rare occurence, however, he isn't the first kind born in the UK. On a farm near Newcastle upon Tyne in England back in 2013, a five-legged lamb named Quinto was born, reported the Associated Press.
