3 Things To Know About 'Frozen 2' Disney

"Frozen 2" Disney film is soon to hit cinemas once again. After taking the world by storm in 2013 with their hit single "Let It Go" and its lovable characters, the sequel to "Frozen" is certain to be sure fire hit. Here's everything there is to know about Princess Anna and Queen Elsa's adventures this time around.

1. "Frozen 2" Disney is finally official. After much talks, Walt Disney Co. announced the much anticipated sequel to the 2013 hit during a meeting at San Francisco last Thursday. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, from the last "Frozen" film are back at the helm with producer Peter Del Vecho joining them

2. There had initially been a debate with regards to a release for "Frozen 2" Disney. Yet, it seems the success of the icy film has managed to sway the executives of Disney. Those who grew up with Disney films know quite well that sequels of beloved animated films never fared well.
"Frozen is in its own category, in the sense of breaking all records for animated films and having incredibly long-lasting success," says JP Morgan analyst, Alexia Quadrani. "That would make anybody revisit a historic policy."

3. Apart from "Frozen 2," Disney plans to release a short film entitled "Frozen Fever" set to be featured before "Cinderella." Given "Frozen" earned a whopping $1.3 billion at the box office, Disney is certainly making all the moves to bank more bucks with the franchise.
"We enjoyed making 'Frozen Fever' so much and being back in that world with those characters," says Chief Creative Officer of Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney, John Lasseter. "Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel and you will be hearing a lot more about it and we're taking you back to Arendelle. We are so excited about that."

Details on "Frozen 2" Disney official film have yet to be released. For now, fans have the short film "Frozen Fever" to look forward to.
