Yes! 'Fifty Shades of Grey' fans can enjoy more steamy scenes between the hot couple Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in the DVD copy of the blockbuster erotic film.
Hollywood Life has learned that a 10-minute sex scene between actors Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have been formatted and added to the DVD copy of the film that is due to hit the market this summer.
Actor Dylan Neal, who portrays the role of Anastasia Steele's stepfather, already teased about the extra steamy clip that has been added to the DVD of the film.
"I would not be surprised if maybe there was some extras in the DVD release or the director's cut," he gushed.
So why was the 10-minute sex scene not included in the theater version of the movie? Well, knowing that this is 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' it won't take a genius to figure out that the restriction on the content that could be shown on the big screen has lead the makers of the movie to cut the sex scene.
Neal hinted that the intense makeout session between Dornan and Johnson is pretty kinky that it was not included in the theater version.
"When we were shooting it they were probably always aiming for an R rating. But there was lots of stuff left in the editing room which would push it over into NC-17," Neal said.
This is quite ironic however, since fans of the EL James trilogy complained that the movie adaptation lacked the right amount of sex scenes to satiate their appetite and craving for the big screen version of the book.
According to Daily Mail, the erotic film was even slammed by many because it was not that intense for something that is labeled "erotic." Moreover, the only 20 minutes or so of love scenes between the lead actors didn't really give fans the right amount of excitement.
Nevertheless, despite the slew of negative comments, The Hollywood Reporter says that Dornan and Johnson have surely secured themselves with big paychecks given the success of their film.
"They will try to renegotiate for seven-figure raises for 'Fifty Shades Darker' and 'Fifty Shades Freed,'" an insider told the site. "It was a very basic franchise starter deal... Look at 'Twilight' and 'Hunger Games,' and that's where it's heading."
Last week, an insider leaked that 32-year-old actor Dornan will be getting $12 million in total for the sequels 'Fifty Shades Darker' and 'Fifty Shades Freed.' He is bound to earn $6.92 million per movie.
