An Austrlian tourist, enjoying a vacation in New York, left a nightclub with a bloody head after getting caught in the midst of the recent Chris Brown and Drake fight.
At New York nightclub W.I.P (Work in Progress) a violent fight broke out between singer Brown and rapper Drake and their entourages on Wednesday night. Police suspect that the fight had something to do with Rihanna. Both of the stars dated the singer.
The New York Daily News reports that both singers were at the nightclub when Drake rejected a $2000 bottle of Ace of Spades champagne, which Brown sent as a peace offering. Police sources told the news that Drake responded with a note that left Brown outraged as it read "I'm still f------ Rihanna."
Soon after a large fight broke out in which punches and bottles were thrown. Australia tourist, 24-year-old Hollie C got caught in the middle of the brawl as she was at the club with her friends.
Hollie C told TMZ,"Within a few moments of noticing glass being thrown around, I saw a glass bottle headed towards me; consequently hitting me in the head."
"I immediately started to bleed and proceeded to fall in and out of consciousness."
Hollie C suffered from a gash in her head and drifted in and out of consciousness. She was taken to a local hospital by herself where she was treated and received 16 stitches and a tetanus shot. She was released from the hospital Thursday morning and filed a police report.
The tourist was upset and distraught after the event. "I had to take the subway home with no money or jacket. Nobody would even sit beside me. My friends were so scared because they did not know where I was."
She recorded and posted a video in which she recalls the event.
Hollie expressed her feelings over the behavior of the "stupid famous people" that resulted in her head injury and hospital stay.
"Where's the justice in them driving away in a limo while I had to catch the train home on one of my holidays?" Hollie says.
Eight people, including Chris Brown, his model-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, and one of his body guards were also injured in the fight. Brown received a deep cut on his chin, which he posted a photo of on Twitter.
No arrests have been made in the incident.
