Lost White City Of Monkey God Found In Honduras Rain Forest: Discovery Straight Out Of 'Raiders Of The Lost Ark', How Was City Discovered? What Was Found?

Lost White City Of Monkey God - In an astounding new discovery, researchers have come upon the Lost City of Monkey God in a hidden part of the Honduras Rain Forest. The discovery is quite surprising that it appears to have come out of a scene from the "Raiders of the Lost Ark." How such discovery made and what was found in the Lost White City of Monkey God?

Straight out of the storybook and out in real life, archaeologists believe to have found the Lost White City of Monkey God in the Mosquitia Jungle. The said jungle runs along the eastern coast of Honduras. According to a report by the National Geographic, the said lost city had not been visited for more than 500 years.

It was in May 2012 that the Lost White City of Monkey God was discovered with the aid of a remote sensing method. This method had used light in the form of a pulsing laser, which was called Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR). Despite being discovered in the year 2012, archaeologists only confirmed their discovery today.

"This is clearly the most undisturbed rain forest in Central America. The importance of this place can't be overestimated," shares Mark Plotkin, an ethnobotanist.

So what exactly is the story of the Lost White City of Monkey God? The real life Indiana Jones, Theodore Morde, was said to have found the city in the year 1940. The city was called the White City due to its white walls which were made of white stone, given it was the time of the Spanish conquistadors and of Hernan Cortes of 1520.

Morde refused to divulge the exact location of the Lost White City of Monkey God. He had committed suicide before anyone managed to squeeze out the truth from him. To protect the site from looters, the exact location has yet to be revealed. What exactly was discovered in the area? Simply a number of ceremonial furniture, a wealth of artefacts, and statues.
