National Pancake Day 2015 - What could be better than Tuesdays? Well, free pancakes on a Tuesday is the answer! IHOP is giving away free pancakes in celebration of National Pancake Day. In addition, the social media has been celebrating along with the hashtag #NationalPancakeDay.
Morning people can now celebrate most especially today, which is National Pancake Day 2015. IHOP Restaurants are offering free pancakes as part of their festivities for National Pancake Day. This isn't the first time IHOP has offered free pancakes let alone celebrate National Pancake Day 2015.
Back in 2006, IHOP had served free pancakes. Despite giving away food for breakfast lovers for free, the restaurant has managed to accumulate a whopping $16 million for their charities.
"Little did we dream, ten years ago, that thanks to the generosity of our guests, we would be able to raise $16 million, one short stack at a time, and make a substantial difference in the lives of the children in our local communities," shares Julia Stewart, the interim president of International House of Pancakes in a report by USA Today.
The goal for National Pancake Day 2015 this time around is to raise $3.5 million. More than 1,500 IHOP Restaurants are participating. So how does the charity work? Well, those who want to get a free pancake are required to leave a donation for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals or a few other charities linked to IHOP.
For those hoping to take out their free pancakes from IHOP on their National Pancake Day 2015, the offer is only for dine-in. In relation to IHOP's free pancake day, Twitter has already exploded with images and tweets about delectable pancakes with the hashtag #NationalPancakeDay.
