"I just had to move my car to higher ground, and I had to walk to my place, and it is not easy," shares Sheldon Fox, a reporter for 7News, adding,"You've got real issues for anybody getting in or out of the property. Almost impassable inside the lot, never mind the street."
Aside from South Florida flooding streets reported, a number of neighborhoods in Northeast Miami Gardens Drive have been under inches of water as well. At the Highland Lakes from the Ives Dairy Road, heavy flood has also been reported with one Postal Service truck having been abandoned in the middle of the gate. A number of cars have stalled due to the South Florida flooding streets.
South Florida flooding streets continue with the downpour reported in Deerfield Beach and North Broward. Those in affected areas should head to their respective evacuation centers. As for those who plan to head out, best to stay indoors than risk heading out with the flood warning.
