"American Horror Story" Season 4 subtitled "Freak Show" actor - who played the short-lived role of Meep - is currently in an intensive care unit after getting hit by an SUV.
The 4'4" actor named Ben Woolf was reportedly struck by a passing SUV when he was allegedly jaywalking on Hollywood Boulevard east of U.S. 101.
Woolf is currently in critical condition since his head was damaged by the mirror of an SUV that was not ticketed.
Cops said they did not ticket the unidentified driver since Woolf was at fault for jaywalking, reports TMZ.
The driver reportedly stopped at the scene of the incident but was not arrested.
No further details, including the exact nature of Woolf's injuries, are available as of the moment.
Prior to playing Meep on "Freak Show," Woolf was also part of the premiere season of FX's hit horror anthology back in 2011 where he portrayed Infantata, ABC News has learned.
He has also appeared in other projects such as "Unlucky Charms," "Eagleheart" and "Dead Kansas."
In one of his interviews for AHS Season 4, Woolf was quoted saying, "We're all freaks in our own way."
He added at the time that he was hoping that his portrayal of the role "would make people feel happy," according to GossipCop.
"I just do what I can do to the best of my ability," he quipped.
"Ben is one of the kindest and hardest-working people I know," publicist Zack Teperman said amid the incident. "His condition remains critical at this time, and we ask that everyone please keep Ben in your thoughts and prayers, and respect his family's privacy during this time."
