Piggly Wiggly Crash: 92-Year Old Driver Slams Into 9 Cars, Incident In Wisconsin Parking Lot 'Dubbed' Accident, Senior To Retake Driving Test? Should Senior Be Allowed Behind The Wheel? [VIDEO]

Piggly Wiggly Crash - In some cases of road accidents, drivers behind the wheel who had been the cause of the incident usually get charged for reckless driving. However, the latest case involving a 92-year old man and nine cars parked at Piggly Wiggly's parking lot - no charges will be cited against him.

The Piggly Wiggly crash all started when 92-year old man, identified as Russell Kerr, started ramming into cars parked in the lot. While the video surveillance might appear as if Kerr was rushing away from the incident, it was the opposite.

"His foot got stuck on the accelerator, and from that point, he panicked," says Mayville Police Chief Christopher MacNeill in a report by WISN-TV. "I can tell you in 23 years of law enforcement, I've never seen anything like this. My first thought was, 'You only see these situations when someone is trying to elude police or in incidents of road rage.'"

Kerr's vehicle of which he lost control of leading to the Piggly Wiggly crash was a Chrysler Pacifica. Around nine vehicles were reported to be struck by Kerr's van. Two out of the nine parked cars were occupied at the time of the Piggly Wiggly crash. Luckily, no one had got hurt.

So what happens to Kerr now after the Piggly Wiggly crash? For one, Wisconsin authorities state that the incident was purely an accident and that no charges will be cited against Kerr. Yet, this does not stop the fact that Kerr may have to retake his driving test. There is pretty much a good reason for Kerr to do so as data from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration summarizes that 17% of traffic fatalities in the year 2012 involved drivers who were more than 65-years old.

To avoid another Piggly Wiggly crash, the senior involved in the incident for one shouldn't even be allowed to drive.
